Dear Shojib,

I am glad to receive your letter. Today I have something exciting to tell you. Last week I traveled by boat. Now I am describing what I saw. We started our journey last Friday morning. When we stepped into the boat, we were welcomed by the gentle morning breeze. The views on both sides of the river were very mesmerizing. These were a feast for our eyes. Our hearts jumped with joy when we saw the vast green paddy field touching the horizon.

Sometimes birds would fly over our heads. Fishermen were working here and there. We saw some big and small boats floating up and down the river. Men and women were bathing in the bathing ghats and children were swimming. The ibis touch of life added a new beauty to the river. However, the river turned sweetest in the evening when the waves danced and gleamed under the crimson rays of the setting sun. I wish you were with me on that journey. I missed you a lot.

Dear Shojib,

I received your letter on 16th April. Thank you so much for remembering me so much. These days I am not feeling very happy as I have badly injured one eye in an accident.

The accident happened 2 days ago, it was a very hot day. I was resting with my friends after playing football on a field. There was a lot of bad odor coming from our body due to sweat. So, we decided to go to the Narayani River for a swim. We took off our clothes and took a dip in the river. The river was deep enough for swimming. We were playing a game of hide-and-seek in the water. While playing the game, I decided to dive into the river from a height. I wanted to show my courage to my friends. As I was about to dive, I felt dizzy and fell from a height and badly injured one eye and was admitted to the hospital.

Although the doctor has said that the eyes can be cured, but the operation will cost Rs 5 lakh. He has said that if the operation is not done on time, it will affect the other eye and I will become blind. I am very worried thinking that my poor father will not be able to raise money within a month. We do not have land to sell. Can you tell me a way out of this difficult situation?
